Housing Information

We have a beautiful facility which was built in 1968 and 1969, and has been well-maintained over the years, with major redecoration projects completed in 1985 and in 1995. We can house up to 50 residents while still maintaining a home-like atmosphere.

Housing Requirements

All collegiate members of Alpha Phi are required to live in the Chapter House. The live-in requirement does vary based on the number of members, because the house must be filled to capacity, which is 50 residents. Some members may live there for four semesters, however sometimes membership does require living in the Chapter House for six semesters.

FAQs

Housing Cost

The financial cost of living in the Alpha Phi Chapter House, including food service, does in fact cost less than living in the WMU dorms or in an apartment complex. All utilities including cable/modem access are included in the room and board price. We do require all room and board payments to be paid in full for the semester prior to move-in each term. We do not provide deferred payment plans, but do offer payment by credit card.
