Our Mission
The Alpha Phi Foundation is a financially successful organization that operates with the highest ethical values. In the spirit of mutual respect and life-long membership in Alpha Phi, the Foundation funds programs that:
• provide leadership and educational opportunities
• encourage and recognize superior scholarship
• support women’s cardiac health
• educate women about the value of philanthropy
• assist members in need

Our Vision
The Alpha Phi Foundation generously supports programs that perpetuate life-long pride and loyalty among Alpha Phis, and positively impact the lives of all women. The Foundation is well known and respected internationally as a prominent leader for the Greek community and as an important funding source of education in women’s cardiac health, leadership development, and philanthropy. Alpha Phi members and friends worldwide generously donate their time and money to ensure the continuing success of the Alpha Phi Foundation.

Foundation Facts
The Alpha Phi Foundation, founded in 1956, is one of the oldest Greek foundations for women. It was set up as a trust – its purpose was to award grants from scholarship and cardiac aid funds. Today, two original priorities remain: to encourage and recognize superior scholarship and to support women’s cardiac health. The Foundation also funds programs that provide leadership and educational opportunities, educate women about philanthropy, and assist members in need.

How Delta Theta Supports the Foundation
Locally, we support the foundation through a variety of fundraising events including a silent auction, pop can drives, and selling breast cancer awareness wrist bands. The silent auction takes place during our annual Parents’ Weekend and is our most successful fundraiser throughout the year.
